Day 1

Upon meeting your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide depart Dublin for Cork.

First stop of the day will be at the Rock of Cashel, a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral.

Upon arrival in Cork, we will stop at Jameson Whiskey, Midleton Distillery. John Jameson established the Jameson way of making whiskey in 1780 and they have been proudly sticking to it ever since. It might not be the easiest way, but insisting on the finest ingredients, triple distillation, and aging the whiskey in seasoned oak barrels has been the secret behind Jameson’s signature smoothness.

Next stop will be Blarney Castle built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, and has been attracting attention ever since. Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney making it a world landmark and one of Ireland’s greatest treasures. Kissing the blarney Stone – for over 200 years, world statesmen, literary giants, and legends of the silver screen have joined the millions of pilgrims climbing the steps to kiss the Blarney Stone and gain the gift of eloquence. Its powers are unquestioned but its story still creates debate.

Day 2

After a leisurely traditional Irish Breakfast at your hotel, meet with your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide and depart Cork for Galway.

First stop will be Cobh Heritage Center. Learn about the Irish Emigration story, trace your ancestors, hear about the ill-fated Titanic and the Lusitania, and immerse yourself in Irish naval and military history at Cobh Heritage Centre. This beautiful, informative and sometimes emotive cultural Centre is situated within Cobh’s beautifully restored Victorian railway station, a building with its own historic story. We will move onto The Cliffs of Moher standing 214m (702 feet) at their highest point they stretch for 8 kilometers (5 miles) along the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland. From the Cliffs of Moher on a clear day one can see the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, as well as the Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk mountains in Connemara, Loop Head to the south and the Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Islands in Kerry.

O’Brien’s Tower stands near the highest point and has served as a viewing point for visitors for hundreds of years.

In the evening check into your hotel in Galway City Center and have some free time to explore the local shops and pubs. Known the world over for its friendly people, charming streets and brightly painted pubs heave with Irish Music. Remnants of the medieval town walls lie between shops selling Aran Sweaters, handcrafted Claddagh rings and storytellers.

Day 3

After a leisurely traditional Irish Breakfast at your hotel, meet with your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide and depart for Dublin.

Before you return to Dublin enjoy one last visit to Connemara, a place where the sandy beaches meet the extreme rugged mountains and it is one of the last few places where the native Gaelic is spoken.

Arrive back in Dublin in the Evening and bid farewell to your driver with unforgettable memories, and new friends.

Day 1

Our first stop will be the picturesque village of Adare, described as the tidiest village in Ireland.

Upon arrival in Killarney visit the magnificent Aghadoe viewing point and look over the breathtaking lakes and of Killarney.

Killlarney is a vibrant “little” town with incredibly beautiful surrounding countryside makes Killarney a very special place indeed. Brim full of history, heritage, activities, and world class hospitality.

Killarney is populated with enthusiastic and welcoming people, and this enthusiasm is reflected in many national and international awards.

Day 2

After a leisurely traditional Irish Breakfast at your hotel, meet with your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide.

This morning we shall depart for the Ring of Kerry.

The 180km circular route of the mystical and unspoilt landscape. It dates back to 10,000 years with dramatic history. It’s a road that takes you from deep forest to the crashing waters of the Atlantic. Stop off at the Kerry Bog village which gives you a fascinating insight into how people lived and worked in Ireland in the 18th Century, then you could move onto the sleepy fishing village of Portmagee and catch the boat to the Skellig Islands where is the backdrop for the latest Star Wars Movie: The Force Awakens (this depends on weather and sailing times). Then you can head onto the coastal drive to Kenmare where you can wander around the shops selling authentic Irish symbols & gifts.

On your way back to Killarney stop off at Muckross House.

Day 3

After a leisurely traditional Irish Breakfast at your hotel, meet with your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide.

This morning we shall depart for the Dingle Peninsula.

Firstly you stop off at Inch Beach; this was the filming place of Ryan’s Daughter. Then onto Annuscaul village which is home to the famous Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.

Onwards then to the beautiful fishing town of Dingle where you can get lost in the traditional pubs and shops or even take a boat trip out to see Irelands friendliest Dolphin, Fungi!

After exploring Dingle you will depart and head back towards Dublin.

Arrive back in Dublin in the late Evening and bid farewell to your driver with unforgettable memories, and new friends.

Day 1

Upon meeting your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide depart Dublin for Belfast.

This morning you shall start your day with an original black taxi tour in Belfast and then in the afternoon visit the Titanic Experience.

The Black Taxi Tour in Belfast is a great way to get an insight into the history of a troubled city. For over 30 years the city was enthralled in a bloody civil war. Fought between the mainly nationalist catholic community and mainly loyalist protestant community. Out of the chaos came some of Belfast’s most recognizable landmarks, its murals. All the black taxi tour drivers have lived through the bloodshed and give you an insight into the history behind it all and their own experiences living through it.
The Titanic Experience which is the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience, exploring the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way. Walk the decks of the last remaining White Star vessel – SS Nomadic or immerse yourself in the historic Slipways as you uncover the true legend of Titanic, in the city where it all began.

In the small village of Bushmills, settled on the banks of the river you’ll find the oldest working distillery in Ireland. A place where family and friends have worked for generations, in a small Northern Irish village that for over 400 years has kept to the philosophy that hand crafting small batches is the way to produce beautifully smooth tasting Irish whiskey.

Upon arrival in Derry, check into your hotel and explore the many restaurants Derry has to offer.

Day 3 – Derry & Dublin

Meet with your Experience Ireland Golf and Travel Driver/Guide in the lobby of your hotel after a leisurely breakfast.

This morning you will meet your guide and enjoy a walking tour of Derry and the walls of Derry. The beautiful streets of Derry have a checkered past including the “Bloody Sunday” massacre that took place in January 1972 and was later written about by U2’s, Sunday Bloody Sunday. In the afternoon drive across the Peace Bridge, with two structural arms heading in opposite directions, symbolizing the unification of both communities from the opposite sides of the Foyle River, the Protestant Waterside and the Nationalist Bogside, these two opposed and independent arms are now united in a symbolic handshake across the river.

In the evening return to Dublin with thoughts and stories of what life must have been like for Protestant & Catholic family’s growing up in Northern Ireland in these times.
