The Irish Open returns to Thomastown, Co Kilkenny, next May when Mount Juliet hosts the Tournament from 27th to 31st May 2020.

The marvellous Kilkenny course last hosted The Irish Open from 1993 to 1995 while it has also been host to Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf, WGC Tournaments in 2002 & 2004 and The Irish PGA Championship in 2012. The quality of this stellar venue is not in question as our National Open makes a welcome return to one of its finest parkland courses after an absence of 25 years.

Significant investment over the past few years has added several improvements to the Clubhouse and Accommodation offerings along with a new Paul McGinley Golf Academy. The facilities are superb and the County Kilkenny Estate will be a fitting venue when the 2020 Irish Open rolls into town!

Many of golf’s greatest players have walked the fairways at Mount Juliet and they are sure to be looking forward to doing so once more come May.
